Tip #2 - Skin Body Care

"How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something, but to be someone." - Coco Chanel

In a world of hustle and bustle, how often do you take the time for a luxurious bath?
It relaxes and rejuvenates the body and the soul.  The next time you treat yourself to one, follow these tips and don’t forget the rubber ducky!

1. Fill the tub with hot water and 10 drops of essential oil. Choose an oil with a calming effect like jasmine or rose or any blend you fancy. It should be one that will allow you to float away (literally) to a carefree place in time. The oils will naturally moisturize your skin and feel great.

2. If you have a need to be up to your neck in bubbles, pour a couple capfuls of bubble bath under the running water and slip into a world of "tiny bubbles" ecstasy even Don Ho and Lawrence Welk would surely envy.

3. Consider investing in an inflatable pillow. It will be well worth the investment as you sink into a dreamy escape. . Light several candles around the tub for a reflective mood and definitely dim the lights.

4. Allow your mind to drift off and don't feel guilty about it. "To do" lists and cell phones should be left far behind. This is your time to close the bathroom door and lock out the world.completely. It will go on without you for 30 minutes.

5. Liberally apply a lotion or cream to your body after your bath. Use long sweeping upward motions toward the heart.

6. A clean fluffy terrycloth bathrobe and cozy slippers should be placed nearby the bathtub for you to slip into before you slide between freshly pressed clean sheets and off to a dreamy slumber. Ahhhhh. Sweet dreams.

For an added bonus, Sandra Forrisdahl, buyer for a fragrance shop in Huntington Beach, California suggests dusting sheets with a perfume-scented powder. "When you roll over you'll feel tranquil and yummy all at the same time."
