Klein Becker: Review & Comparison

Klein-Becker is the manufacturer of StriVectin anti wrinkle cream. StriVectin was first formulated as a cream for treating stretch marks. The story goes that tubes of this cream were distributed in the lab of Klein Becker and employees started using them taking the cream for regular moisturizer. In two weeks’ time many of the employees reported a visible reduction in the fine wrinkle lines present on the face. This prompted Klein Becker to manufacture their stretch mark cream as also an anti-wrinkle cream.

Although Klein Becker has been manufacturing its products under various brand names, yet the composition of the products is almost the same. However, the official website does not mention collagen as an ingredient in anti-aging creams and lotions. This is surprising given the fact that collagen is increasingly being used to counter the effects of aging in the skin. There are many new compounds besides collagen that now form the formula of anti-aging products.

Product Details

A complete list of the ingredients used in the products is listed on the website of Klein-Becker. Some of the main chemicals that go into the making of StriVectin are Yeast and Algae Extract, Cocoa Butter, Stearic Acid, Shea Butter, Xanthum Gum, Retinyl Plamitate, Coneflower Extract, Peppermint Oil, Root Extract, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Bearberry Extract, Propylene Glycol, Urea, Butylene Glycol, Hydrocotyl Extract, Mango butter, Methylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Polyglyceryn Methacrylate, DMDM Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl Butylcabamate and Phyllanthus Emblica Fruit Extract.

What’s Positive

Klein Becker products can be ordered online through the official website.
Customers can get their money back in case they are not satisfied with the products.

What’s Negative

The official website does not mention collagen as an ingredient used in the products. Collagen, as we know, is an important chemical used in anti-aging products.
Pal-KTTKS is an ingredient that is used in the products. However, it does not stand strong in comparison to Matrixyl 3000 that is recognized as an excellent compound for anti-aging creams.
Some customers feel that the peppermint oil present in the cream has an overbearing smell.
The company offers no free trials to first time customers.

Bottom Line

Klein-Becker has excellent marketing strategies and they market their cream StriVectin as an alternative to Botox. This sounds very appealing to customers looking for a not-so expensive and not-so-painful anti-wrinkle treatment. But this is not so. Medical professionals believe that StriVectin does not show the same satisfactory results as Botox.
